It's still to early to tell if this shoe wil exercise my achilles tendon and save me from another operation. But, my podistrist wears them and he bought them for his wife. I'm 71 and do not run....so far,so good. My achilles tendon has had a work out today going up and down hills and sideways, too. It's probably a pretty good shoe and I never need any other inserts for it..I am knockneed and flat footed...we'll see how it works with time.It’s a Hoka type shoe with no support.I was so excited to try these. The foam cushion is really thick, but feels like cheap foam and so hard. I’ve ran on them twice and now both hips and knees are hurting so bad. Such a waste :(
