I bought these to wear around the house when going barefoot is not an option because of my pain from chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy. They had worked great for that purpose. However, I haven't limited them to just wearing in the house. They are great for wearing outside, as well. They wash up great by just throwing them into the washer and letting them air dry. They are comfortable and breathable. Would definitely recommend.
