I regularly wear a size 8 and I ordered a size 8 in red. The toe of the shoe fits as I hoped, nice and snug, not too tight. The ankle though is another matter. The calculations for the length of the ankle strap are off. There is a piece of elastic connected to help BUT they left the strap itself too long. I'm going to take mine to a shoe repair spot to see if they can help. My last resort is to puncture another hole in the strap, trim the end and glue it so it doesn't flap out too far and to add a heel cushion to the interior of the heel cover to help it reach my foot. However they calculated the ankle for this design is wrong. If you don't mind a little fix then you'll be fine, but if you need something that won't require any fuss, look elsewhere.Other notes:Color is great and true to photo. Material is a soft pseudo suede. Padding at ball of foot is comfortable. Mesh/cutout shell around top of foot is comfortable and not tight. Sole has a good grip when walking. Heel is stable and does not wobble when I walk.
